Bachelorette (episode 2)

This week made me like the guys I already liked even more & hate the ones I already hated even more.. perfect. To start with, Doug is an absolute sweetheart. I’m so glad he stood up for his family when Kalon made a comment about him putting being a dad on hold to be on the show. No buddy, once a dad, always a dad.. last time I checked. kthanks. Go Doug! “Woah, stop right there. Check it.” Favourite quote of the night, not gonna lie. Moving on.. Ryan’s first one-on-one date was just precious. I died laughing when he thought something extreme was gonna happen, only to find out he was gonna be helping Em unload her groceries into her house. Too funny. He went with it, though. & he seemed to fit in nicely to her normal, everyday life. I totally supported Emily’s decision not to introduce Ricki to any of the guys yet. She really is a protective “Mama Bear” as she likes to put it, & I think it’s so cute! She’s such a great mom. Her dinner with Ryan afterwards was a little more fancy and intimate and I thought it was cute. I love how she’s basically the first in bachelor history to not kiss anybody by the second episode! Props to her. I totally would’ve macked on Ryan after that date, let’s be honest. The group date was fun, except I totally felt Charlie’s pain & just wanted to give him a giant hug! I think he’s so sweet and the fact that he doesn’t try TOO hard to get her attention is really attractive. He’s just being himself & that’s exactly how it should be. We didn’t get to see much of Sean this week, which was kind of disappointing cause I really like him. But luckily, he made the cut so hopefully he gets a one-on-one next week or at least something! Stevie rubs me the wrong way for some reason. I just find him… weird? Although, when it comes to him & Kalon butting heads, I’m totally team Stevie because I actually wanna rip off Kalon’s face. Like no doubt, I despise that guy to my very core. It’s ridiculous & I hope she sees it soon. Not a single guy in that house likes him & they have very good reasons why! What a smug idiot.. Anyway, last one-on-one was with Joe. Now even last week, I didn’t know why she gave him a rose because just from their meeting you could tell they weren’t going to click. He’s too energetic for her. I know opposites attract but I just feel like they were too opposite. She obviously discovered this on her own terms & unfortunately sent him home at the end of their date. But that’s okay, it gave her an extra rose to hand out at the ceremony. I just felt so terrible for her cause she got so upset, she just hates hurting people’s feelings! She truly is America’s sweetheart.<3 But I think Joe was a little too hurt himself to even give her a proper goodbye.. How sad. That would bring us to the rose ceremony.. But I can’t forget Jef! I think he’s my favourite, not gonna lie. There is just something about that guy that pulls at my heart strings. Idk what it is, maybe it’s his baby face that gets me. Or maybe it’s how he plays hard to get & then when Emily confronts him, he’s 100% honest with how he feels. I honestly think he’s just the cutest thing. & he totally deserved the rose he got on the group date. Congrats Jef! I’m rooting for ya! (: Back to the rose ceremony.. I think Ryan’s letter was absolutely adorable, but I had a hard time paying attention to it when Tony had to sit there & listen to the whole thing.. which if my memory serves me correctly, it was SEVEN pages long! I totally agree with Emily, it was an awesome gesture but could’ve been presented at a better time. The cocktail party is not the time for that when you’ve already got a rose, bud! Other guys want a chance to talk to her before she starts sending them home. It’s only fair that the cocktail party is more for the guys who haven’t received a rose this week to get their fair share of time with her.. especially the guys who didn’t get a date at all, ahem, SEAN! Anyway, she kept Stevie & of course, Kalon, which I’m not thrilled about. Nor am I thrilled that she got rid of Aaron.. BUT, whatever. She still has a handful of fantastic guys! (like Jef & Doug). Good episode, anyway. I’d also like to point out how much Ricki looks like her dad.. My gawd. So cute. Previews show Emily getting upset with one of the guys and ending up smashing something. I’m wondering if it’s gonna be Travis’ egg?! Guess we’ll find out. I’m excited!
